We visited Andrés DC on December 30th for dinner and had an amazing experience. We ordered several appetizers, including octopus, arepa, and potatoes, and for the main course we all had steak, everything was absolutely delicious! Mariana was our server, and she was top-notch. She gave us great recommendations on what to order and was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the night. There was a live band, the music was great as always, and the overall vibe was fantastic. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back!
If you are after a evening experience in Bogota this must be the number one Local tasty food, with amazing options of local juices, plus at the end of the dinner you have the option to dance some salsa or local music A must place to visit if you are in Bogota
A steak restaurant that lives up to its reputation. It has a lively atmosphere, yet somehow manages to feel relaxing. It’s a little pricey, but the service and the quality of the food are excellent.
This place is is a must do if you are visiting Bogotá and want to dig into some authentic Colombian food. I did not know much about Colombian cuisine before this trip and it as it turns out, it's incredibly delicious. Everything I had here was fantastic. The restaurant itself is spread out vertically between 5 floors that have variations in decor. The theme and style of the place are singularly unique, mileage may very on the aesthetics of it but good on them for going all out with it. The servers and staff here were exceptional. My Spanish is limited and and everyone was very friendly and understanding. Warning: they did not have an English menu available so be prepared for that. I actually just asked Google Gemini about the place for some context and also for what I should order. You can also use a translation app and just go over the menu with it but again, warning: the menu is quite large. Everything I got was amazing and unique. I'd never had any of it before. To drink, I had a limonada de coco which is like a thick creamy coconut drink. Then I had an arepa de choclo (there's no chocolate involved 😉) which is like a fried corn cake grilled with white cheese in it and served with a little side of mayo. It was fluffy and sweet and quite filling for an appetizer. For a main course I had a Lomo al Trapo, which is a beef tenderloin wrapped in a salt soaked cloth and grilled this way. It comes out well seasoned and tender. Be prepared though as this place is like a constant party. There's music playing, people dancing, and kids playing here and there. It was nice to be around so many people enjoying themselves though and only made the experience better and more authentic. The top floor is sort of open air as well with some views of the area and plants growing along the balcony.
Excellent place to have an energetic local vibe. Food is good, staff are very friendly. Just a bit too loud to have conversations during your dinner time.
