The Hoxton is an incredibly welcoming hotel with a great atmosphere. The space feels warm, relaxed and beautifully designed. I didn’t know Shoreditch before this stay, and even though it’s not right in the city center, I found it to be an amazing and genuinely beautiful area, full of character, creativity and great energy. One thing I really loved is the lobby area — it has a vibrant social scene with a restaurant and a DJ, creating a super cool vibe that feels lively and fun without ever being overwhelming. Despite the buzz downstairs, the rooms are quiet, comfortable and perfect for resting, so you get the best of both worlds. What truly sets the hotel apart, though, is the people. Everyone is genuinely kind, helpful and friendly, which makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. I stayed here for a full week, and the consistency of the service and overall experience was excellent throughout. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip in May and unfortunately had a VERY POOR experience. - While the room was clean, it was extremely small and very basic for a hotel charging nearly €400 per night. The bathroom ventilation was so loud that it woke me up at night, and the shower leaked badly, leaving water all over the bathroom floor after every use. Issues I would expect from a budget hotel, not a 4-star property… - The biggest problem, however, was the room's terrible sound insulation. On the night of May 20–21, a rooftop party directly outside my window blasted music until early morning. The noise was as loud as if I had been at the techno party myself. I got virtually no sleep that night, which is unacceptable at this price point!!! The staff were friendly and genuinely apologetic. They told me they had called the police multiple times. They also promised to follow up with a goodwill gesture and compensation by email after my stay. I never received anything! Overall, despite the kindness of the staff, I cannot recommend this hotel. The value for money is extremely poor, and the lack of follow-through after such a serious issue made the experience even more disappointing.

This hotel is my usual choice for business trips to London. I absolutely love the ambiance of the rooms; they're quite charming. The a la carte breakfast selections are also really good, adding a nice touch to the stay.

A stylish new hotel in Shoredich, near the underground, in a quiet area. The rooms was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The personnel will make your room up on upon request, same if you need something refilled (water, coffee...). We found this accommodation a very good choice and would recommend other travellers (not on the budget side) to valutate it as a very good option.

The breakfast! Although a bit basic it was everything we needed to start our day. The rooms may have been on the smaller size but it had everything you need. Very comfy beds and cozy lobby! Reception Staff in the evening Ioana, Che and Kwaja were wonderful and very kind.
